STEAM  Movement Programme

N-STD 2

This program is meant to develop advanced basic motor skills, coordination, and body awareness in children through organized physical exercise. It emphasizes gross and fine motor skill development, increasing children's strength, balance, agility, and spatial awareness. Children gain hand-eye coordination, control over their muscles, and intellectual links supportive of total learning through exciting activities such as rhythmic movement, creative play, balance activities, and elementary team games. The program also incorporates simple numeracy and literacy principles through physical movement, promoting a young love for physical activity and for learning. Promoting active exploration and play, the Early Movement Program establishes a good foundation for an ongoing appreciation of physical fitness and health
